In the Hand of Dante uyarlaması Johnny Depp için hazırlanıyor...

Johnny Depp'in film şirketi Infinitum Nihil, Nick Tosches imzalı In the Hand of Dante kitabının haklarını satın aldı. Aktörün projede rol alacağı ve bu konuda oldukça istekli olduğu söyleniyor.

Depp'in etkilendiği kitap 2002 yılında okuyucu ile buluştu. Bir yandan 14. yüzyılda Dante'nin İlahi Komedya'yı yazma serüvenini anlatırken, bir yandan da günümüzde kitabın yazarı Tosches'nin çılgın hayalini anlatıyor. Depp'in canlandıracağı Tosches, Dante'nin orijinal el yazmalarını yeniden yaratmaya çalışıyor.
